Fun fact, they were first recorded in the UK in 1864! They are now founded up to Shetland and across Europe. However, what are the positives from these arachnids? Founded indoors, millions are residents inside our homes. Beneficially, cellar spiders exterminate harmful insects. From killing species like mosquitoes, this creates a cleaner; healthier environment. Additionally, they are a natural pest control.

Overall, each and every insect in our homes has a unique purpose (even if it's hidden). Next time you spot a harmless insect in your home, think twice before harming it.
