Recently in the last few days, the world has experienced a fashion frenzy. From the marvelling Met Gala, to the roaring return of The Devil Wears Prada, this has startled screens.

Return of The Devil Wears Prada
'The Devil Wears Prada 2' has surged an audience in theatres and online. The revival of the previous chick-flick, increased the noughties nostalgia. Starring the famed Meryl Streep, who plays the fashionista 'Miranda Priestly', the 2006 comedy-drama features Anne Hathaway. Based in New York City, Hathaway's character 'Andy' learns the ways of the fashion world, as a young upcoming journalist. Initially, 'Andy' is placed as 'Miranda's' assistant alongside 'Emily', who is ironically portrayed by Emily Blunt. The trio face the 2000's fashion world, where the characters face personal reflections, on the person they are transforming. Titled as the 12th highest-grossing film in 2006, the film became a 00's classic. The movie also featured Stanley Tucci, who played the charismatic 'Nigel' .
The film has yet again been revolutionary. According to Global box office records, 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' has earned a ground-breaking $234 million. The fashion frenzy has dominated this week, with the Met Gala and the movie. Many fashion fans are delighted with the acting, the visual aspects and the music chosen. Astonishingly, the legendary Lady Gaga had an appearance, alongside the model Winnie Harlow.

May's Met Gala 2026
The Met Gala is an annual event taking place in May. The event is famous for its fashion night, whilst inviting celebrities to take part. Each year, a different theme is introduced. On Monday, this year's theme was "Fashion is art." Numerous celebrities astonished the media, with their extravagant and unique interpretation of the theme. Countless stars celebrated the fashion show like: Beyoncé, the Kardashians/Jenners, Hailey Bieber, Nicola Kidman, Sabrina Carpenter, Finn Wolfhard, Rihanna, Jay Z and many more. Although, some attendees made well-remembered appearances.
Madonna amazed the crowds with her gothic entrance. The Queen of Pop wore a Saint Laurent dress, which was inspired by Leonora Carrington's painting, 'The Temptation of St. Anthony 1945.' Madonna's appearance marked fashion history.
Bad Bunny's individual spin-off surprised the camera. The 32-year old rapper, dressed as an older version of himself, highlighting the acceptance of aging. His unique perception of "Fashion is art" marvelled many.
Stevie Nicks first appearance at the Met Gala, amazed classic-rock fans. Her free-spirit style was embraced in her 2026 look. Nick's choice was a personalised Zara outfit, which gothicly partnered Madonna's look.
May has marked 2026's fashion week. From the awaited arrival of 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' to the Met Gala, the media has been enthralled with the numerous appearances. To Anne Hathaway's debut at the Gala, to the Queen of Pop, this week has marked fashion history.
