
Conor McGregor has been accused of assaulting a woman on his private yacht whilst celebrating his birthday in Ibiza, prompting the alleged victim to jump into the water.
UFC Fighter Conor McGregor has been accused of assaulting a woman in Ibiza whilst celebrating his birthday on July 16th, 2022.
A Spanish newspaper, the Ultima Hora released a report from an unnamed Irish friend of McGregor's who alleges McGregor punched and kicked her before forcing her to flee by jumping into the water.
The unnamed victim claims to have been a friend of McGregor's since before he entered the UFC in 2013, according to her statement to Ultima Hora. During the attack McGregor was acting "as if he were possessed."
A spokesperson for McGregor (Karen Kessler) has denied the claims of assault to ESPN:
"Mr. McGregor is steadfast in his denial of all the accusations made by a guest on his boat."

A judge will determine whether to cite him for a felony, Ăšltima Hora reported.

According to the report by Ultima Hora, the alleged victim filed a formal complaint against McGregor upon returning to Dublin. Police in Ibiza have re-opened the investigation into the alleged victim's claims.
McGregor is currently facing formal charges as Spanish authorities interview eyewitnesses and the alleged victim.
