Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging, accurate and original articles
• Pitch new content ideas aligned with Devote's audience
• Cover music news, entertainment and cultural trends
• Product artist features, reviews and opinion pieces
• Support website growth through consistent contributions
• Work collaboratively with leadership and programming teams
• Introduce and implement new content ideas to keep Devote Radio innovative and cutting-edge.

Content areas may include:

• New music releases and chart stories
• Artist interviews and spotlights
• Entertainment and pop culture
• Local West Midlands features
• Industry and broadcasting insights
• Event previews and reviews
• Local and national Sports news
• UK political news

You'll be able to:

• Work from home and fit the role around college, university, work, or other commitments
• Learn and use the Aiir platform to publish all news articles and content across the website
• Manage your time flexibly while still being part of an active station team
• Gain professional experience without needing to be based in a studio
