Devote Radio is a youth-led platform exploring the intersection of music, digital culture, and emerging trends - and we're giving new writers a space to build, experiment, and be heard.

We're looking for volunteer bloggers to create a 10-part weekly series around a topic they care about.

Who This Role Is For

This role is for creative storytellers who live and breathe music, culture and conversation. Whether you’re a student journalist, an aspiring media professional, a blogger, or simply someone with strong opinions and a sharp writing style, we’re looking for individuals who want to see their words published and their ideas heard. If you’re naturally curious, switched on to trends, confident in your voice and motivated to build something exciting from the ground up, this is your opportunity to contribute to a growing radio brand with ambition.

What You'll Do

Write 1 blog per week (10 total)
Develop and own a clear series concept or niche
Explore trends and turn them into engaging content
Share your perspective - not just report, but add value
Work with the editorial team for feedback and direction

Series ideas (or pitch your own):

AI & technology
Social media trends
Music & youth culture
Creator economy
Digital culture / internet trends
Marketing & branding

You'll be able to:

Work from home and fit the role around college, university, work, or other commitments
Learn and use the Aiir platform to publish all your blogs across the website
Manage your time flexibly while still being part of an active station team
Gain professional experience without needing to be based in from the office
